Community Support and Grants

Grant Considerations

The Desert Foundation Auxiliary considers grant requests from 501(c)(3) organizations in the greater Scottsdale community. Requests for funding are limited to one request per organization each calendar year. If an organization has received a previous grant from DFA, they may be considered in future grant cycles.

Grant Submission

Submit your request to receive a grant by filling out the grant request form. After submissions are reviewed, selected organizations will be asked to submit an application. Submitted applications will be reviewed and an invitation to interview will be extended to selected applicants. Grants are awarded in February of the following year at our Annual Meeting.

Submission Timeline

        • October 15 – Completed applications due.
        • November – Invitation to interview will be extended to selected applicants.
        • January – Notification of decision mailed to applicants.
        • February of the Following Year – Checks presented to selected charities at DFA annual meeting.
